So, how did I come up with the name for this web site (www.mikescandywrappers.com)? I didn't. I had a contest asking visitors to my old Tripod site to submit their ideas. And Alissa, who goes to college at Kent State University in Ohio, was the first one to suggest mikescandywrappers. For being the big, big, winner, Alissa received a Limited Edition Hershey White Chocolate Almond Bar. She also gets to have this page dedicated to her. I asked Alissa to let me know a little something about her and since she did such a great job in emailing me back, I decided to just copy what she wrote:

"Thank you for picking me as your winner! I love your web site, I think it is very creative and I am always checking for updates to see the new wrappers and some of the...um, strange comments people make. I am just happy to have won.

"About me: I am a 19 year old senior marketing major at Kent State University in Ohio. I took college classes in high school full time, so I am really ahead with my education. I plan to stay here at Kent when I graduate in the spring and get my MBA. After my MBA i am going to get my Law degree, hopefully from the University of Michigan. I plan to become a corporate lawyer. Currently I work as an intern for the procurement department here at KSU. I am developing a program for the University to sell its surplus items on Ebay. It is a fun job, but all the legalities of developing the program kinda suck, as it is taking a long time to get it started.

My favorite candy bars are probably Fast Break and PB m&ms. I also love reeses bites(I eat a 99 cent bag about every day..yum). If I feel like eating a little healthy I will eat Luna Bars (Smores and Nuts over Chocolate), but thats rare. I also like snickers marathon bars. You got me hooked on tasty kakes through seeing them on your site. They don't sell them in my hometown (smithville, ohio) but they do have them here in Kent. I like the Chocolate lover cupcakes and the PB ones the best.

For fun I shop and spend time with my boyfriend/family/friends. I have been with my boyfriend for about a year now, his name is Steve. He does CAD drawings of houses at my dads lumber company (that's how we met). I have 3 dogs, Harry, Chewy and Shaggy. Harry and Chewy are Malamutes and Shaggy is a collie.
