Buying And Now Maintaining My First House

These pages are dedicated to my first house, which I bought in May of 2002. I won't bore you with all the details. If you want those, they can be found in my House Journal. The Journal is my diary of going through the process of buying the house and now maintaining it. The picture above was taken from the County's Real Estate web site.

Buying a house was a big dream of mine. It's yet to turn into a nightmare, although there is a lot of work that needs to be done. I wouldn't classify the house as a fixer upper, but there's a lot of little things that need to be done (like painting, etc). But the house is livable the way it is. What I have to remember is to take LOTS of pictures, including before and after (and during) shots. The pictures below is what I have scanned so far. I'm sure there will be more to come.
