PRESIDENT'S DAY WEEKEND STORM, FEBRUARY 16 - 17, 2003

(Updated 04/17/04)

This was our third winter in Pittsburgh and it brought us one of the snowiest storms in recent memory in the Pittsburgh area. It was President's Day weekend and the snow started in the Pittsburgh area on the 16th. And it snowed and snowed through the 17th. After it was all done, it dumped about 14 inches of snow. That's a pretty good amount, but this storm was slow moving and headed to New Jersey (where Laurie and I are from and where our families still live). My family always think we get more snow than them. But we try to say that they get more. And this storm was no different. They got about 20 inches of snow.
