One of the things we knew we wanted to do while in Tampa was to go to Busch Gardens. We had a good time. I bought our tickets online, so we breezed right through the ticket line...cool. The weather was pretty good for the day and there weren't many people there since it was the middle of February. But that also worked against us as the park was only open until 5 or 6pm. So we got there as soon as we could. They nail you for $7 for parking (like, where else are you gonna park?) and the tram car was full. So we walked. It was only across the street and we almost beat the tram car there anyway! Oh, but at the end of the day after walking all day, we waited for the tram to get back to the car.
We had a good time since Busch Gardens is more than just rides. They have a lot of wildlife around that Laurie and I enjoyed. We had BBQ ribs from the Stanleyville Smokehouse for lunch and my only regret was that we didn't get a free sample of beer. I forgot they do that somewhere in the park (I forget where).
